Publication guidelines

RLEA is committed to the integrity of double-blind peer review process and to maintaining high standards of review. In the first stage of review, originality (using an Internet-based similarity detection service) and compliance with the journal’s objective and scope will be assessed. The article will then undergo peer review by independent and anonymous expert reviewers.

Each reviewer will submit a report that includes both comments on the formal aspects of the article and comments on the content, in accordance with the journal's goals, originality, hypotheses, etc.

The reviewer's report may conclude by stating that it approves the article without changes, requests some content changes, or recommends the rejection of the article. In this case, the Editorial Board reserves the right to uphold or dismiss the reviewer's decision.

RLEA’s review process is grounded on its ethical standards for:

Editors: ensuring articles selection, non-discriminatory selection and confidentiality, and to disclose conflicts of interest.

Reviewers: ensuring confidentiality, timeliness, and objectivity standards; contribute to editorial decisions; acknowledge sources; and disclose conflicts of interest.

Authors: information standards, avoid multiple, redundant, or concurrent publication; ensure originality and avoid plagiarism; assure authorship; acknowledge sources; disclose conflicts of interest; notify of fundamental errors in published articles.
